”Midas Touch” to Professional Wedding Photography
“I believe a photographer’s real introduction is its work.“
Every kind of photography has its own flavor but when it comes to wedding photography, especially destination wedding photography you can’t pin at one. Wedding photography is different. It’s unique like every love story.
At every wedding, a new leaf of life opens, giving way to a slew of emotions; capturing those emotions to their true self and beyond is what I excel in. When two people see in each other’s eyes, the spark that flows is my cue to take that perfect shot.
Of course, the location and the timing, the technicalities do play an imperative part, but the real magic lies with the couple, the way they demonstrate their chemistry, a sense of companionship, unconditional love, a promise to hold on thick and thin, exuding the emotion: We have arrived! You are my home! My expertise lies in preserving these moments with its true essence.
Every couple has its own light that I reflect in every click. I want my clients to feel the joy of their “Happily Ever After” when they see their portraits/photographs. I want them to see how beautiful they looked at the most important day of their lives. I believe in giving couples an experience, a memory of a lifetime, that they can cherish with their immediate and future family time and again!”
About Me
"I was meant to be a Photographer."
Some things in life are innate in you, while many things you learn to improve to live a life of your choice. In my journey to being a photographer, both are true.
So, how did it all start? I guess with a “Walk, some colors on a paint brush, a precious gift from someone special, and a fun gig.”
I recall stopping in the driveway with my family when I noticed a tree with gorgeous blossoms. The setting sun provided the ideal background, adding to its “divine” appearance. It wasn’t as if I’d never used that driveway or seen trees like them before. But that day, my glance was different. I was fascinated by the color contrast and light play, which gave that tree an entirely distinct presence. You could say that day I observed it through the eyes of a “photographer.” After that, I started noticing details, colors, and light in a completely new manner.
Another thread to my photography journey could be my interest in drawing and painting. I still remember discussing the use of colors and how light should look in some particular section while painting with my sister, and she used to say, “Hey, you should try your hand at photography or painting; you are too good.” Who knew that we both were manifesting it somewhere? And when my brother gifted me a NIKON SLR in the early 90s, everything changed. It was the start of my pursuit of what I was meant to do: be a photographer.
But the real game change was when I shot my nephew’s wedding for fun and received an offer from the official photographer, who had been hired for my nephew’s wedding to assist him with future events and serve as a second hand; since then, there has been no looking back!
Photography has had a significant impact on my life over the years. It’s provided me with an avenue for creativity, a platform to express myself, and even a career.
Why Wedding Photography?
As I progressed in this creative form, I began to see life in its most spectacular representation, with an awareness of underlying emotion. This evolution took me to wedding photography.
Do you know what fantasizes me the most about weddings? The idea of “forever” as two people hold hands to be with each other in thick and thin. What can be more beautiful than capturing a “promise of a lifetime”? Right?
No matter how old the wedding concept is, witnessing and capturing those unscripted moments with every new couple has kept me here for so long. Whenever a new love story unveils, I write a new album of beautiful emotions through my camera, showcasing some eye-catching portraits, candid moments, and family happiness and love. Trust me, it’s a fantastic feeling every time, all the time!
So, what are you waiting for? Make me part of your special day and see how “picture perfect” your story looks through my lens.
